Councilperson Freddie King III is hosting a Crawfish Cookoff for his constituents of District C. It's a "battle of the banks" - East Bank vs. West Bank. Who will prepare the best plate of crawfish and take home the coveted trophy?
The FMIA is entering a team for the competition with our Vice-President Kip Hollar as Captain and Marigny Rectangle resident Wade Kodrin as the Chef.
Come out and support this inaugural event and enjoy some free crawfish while interacting with other neighborhood groups and community organizations. There will also be other food trucks and city/community support services on site. Free snowballs and Meyer's Frozen Lemonade!
Located in the Federal City Green Space behind 2500 General Meyer Avenue (at Shirley Drive) - next to Delgado Community College West Bank Campus. Look for all the popup tents.
